A DISH Winegard Travler only works with the DISH Western Arc sats (110, 119, 129) which should work most of the times unless you're parked under trees. To get the Eastern Arc sats you'll have to do what the rest of us do — buy a tripod-mounted dish like the 1000.2 which has both Western & Eastern Arc options. The 1000.2 dish will serve you better than rooftop dome because you'll get all DISH sats at once. A dome only receives 1 sat at a time which is not good if you plan on recording any sat programs.
